CEVA is marketing in Europe but also in other countries such as Canada or Australia an injectable solution for dogs and cats.

It is a powerful, long-acting analgesic that acts on morphine receptors within the central nervous system.

Frequently used by vets in anesthetic and analgesic protocols for surgical operations, this product is highly effective in reducing pain during 6 to 8 hours while being extremely safe

Ceva  is proposing to the vets a complete range of non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) with analgesic (pain-relieving) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) properties. These NSAIDs  inhibit acute and chronic inflammation. They are prescribed for acute pain (trauma, surgery, fever) on a short term basis and for chronic pain (osteoarthritis) on a long term basis.

These NSAIDs are available in injectable form to be administered before and after surgery or during the consultation in the veterinary clinic..

They are also available in oral forms easy to give thanks to a high level of palatability (palatable liquid solutions for dogs and cats and solid chewable tablets for dogs). These easy to give forms are ensuring a high level of compliance even when the treatment has to be given on the long term.

Ceva NSAIDs oral forms are also easy to dose (oral solutions with dosing syringe, snap tablets scored in four) in order to make sure that the pet owner is giving the right dose, as prescribed by the vet (overdosing may generate renal or gastrointestinal side effects).

 

Ceva has launched in different countries some joint care supplements. FLEXIVET and AGILIUM in France, EASEFLEX in UK, SYNOVIALFLEX and TRICOX in USA are the main ones.

FLEXIVET Start combines two chondro-protectors, chondroitin and glucosamine. Marine chondroitin guarantees a majority of active isomers and offers risk-free use. One month’s administration of FLEXIVET Start limits deterioration of the cartilage and encourages macro-molecular synthesis of joint cartilage in the animals. Administration of FLEXIVET Start (initial treatment) for one month should be followed by administration of FLEXIVET Go (maintenance - glucosamine alone) for at least two months.

AGILIUM is a combination of chondroitin and hyaluronic. Chondroitin is limiting cartilage degeneration and associated loss of flexibility when hyaluronic acid is limiting synovia degeneration and associated loss of viscosity.
